Damon Conklin will be speaking at the opening event on a panel titled "Evolution of the Art of Tattooing" 

Opening February 1, 2020, Body of Work: Tattoo Culture explores the rich history and modern artistry of tattooing as a dynamic, ever-evolving artform whose mainstream acceptance has been driven by popular culture.
Through large-scale infographics, historical and contemporary photographs, interviews, short films, and interactive experiences, the exhibition will highlight tattooing across North America, serving to demystify the process and de-other the culture.
Body of Work: Tattoo Culture will also feature large-scale, original works of art created by tattoo artists based in the Northwest. The artists selected for the exhibition demonstrate the wide range of styles possible in tattoo art, and to show the diversity and inclusivity of tattoo practitioners and the people who get tattoos.

Procreate for Tattooers - Two plus hours of procreate instruction, demonstration, and amazing tips. 
The class will start with and introduction to the basic tools, go over an overview of the process, and then dive into specific instruction. We will go through the tools menu from the very beginning and then we will spend the rest of our time shading and coloring a design that I provide so we can have some shared experience with the tools to help imbed the lesson. This seminar comes with a complimentary copy of my own private rose leaf eye crown and skull brush stamp set. This is a collection of over 100 images that load into the procreate brush pallet as images that can be mixed and matched to create an almost endless amount of custom designs.  This seminar will be taught on Sunday afternoon at Hell City Killumbus OH. The registration fee is $150.
